Harpy Complete

Harpy is all done. Here she is.
And I gessoed over the elaborate border painting I was going to do. I wasn't enjoying it at all and didn't like the images I had added. So I started over and now I'm having fun. Working title: Subprime......something or other.

Harpy- almost done

Thanks to some bleak days, I worked on Harpy this week and now it's almost finished. I tried to harmonize the colors and in order to do that, I had to change the colors of different objects several times. Now for the fun, and yes, tedious, time of making the borders.

Harpy Under Construction

Yesterday was rainy...VERY rainy...so I worked a lot on my harpy painting. She's coming along nicely and I'm figuring out the color combos as I go.
